CDS currently using Apache Rampart to do username+password authentication.

Possibility of using the AstroGrid SecurityGuard library to handle IVOA SSO authentication.

AstroGrid SecurityGuard library available for SOAP and SSL authentication.

  • SOAP version is available for Apache Axis 1.x
  • SSL version is available for java.net.HttpsURLConnection
