TIPbase

TIPbase contains fine-structure atomic data computed for ions of astrophysical interest in the IRON Project: radiative transition probabilities and electron impact excitation cross sections and rates for fine-structure transitions. Two query modes are available, you can either browse through the Table of Contents or select data for the system, or range of systems, of interest. A complete list of publications is also provided.

Table of Contents

In order to browse the Table of Contents, please specify the Atomic and Electron Numbers of the ionic system of interest or a range of isoelectronic and/or isonuclear sequences. The default is the complete Table. Source references for the atomic data included are also given.

Atomic Number (NZ): - Electron Number (NE): -

Energy Levels

For each ion representation, TIPbase lists a table of fine-structure levels that includes their electron configurations, angular symmetries and energies (Ryd). This table is a key for the transition data available below. The ion is identified by its Atomic and Electron Numbers and number of levels. Ranges of these identifiers can also be selected. The default is the complete data set.

Transitions

TIPbase contains for ionic systems: radiative transition probabilities (A-values), electron impact excitation cross sections (collision strengths) as a function of ejected electron energy (Ryd) and electron impact excitation rates (effective collision strengths) as a function of electron temperature (Log10(T) Kelvin). Please specify the ranges required, the default being the complete data set.
