EuroVO-AIDA Internal Science Team (IST)

The EuroVO-AIDA Internal Science Team (IST) is a panel appointed by the EuroVO-AIDA Board, composed of scientists from the partner teams. The 4 Euro-VO Scientists are invited to attend the IST activities in the case they are not nominated as IST members. The IST role is complementary to the high level scientific oversight by the SAC: it acts at the EuroVO-AIDA project level as support of the Board, WPMT and all Work Packages during the project as required. The IST will hold two meetings (kick-off and conclusions), and teleconference discussions as required, in particular if IST advice is sought from one of the project Work Packages. The IST reports on its activities to the EuroVO-AIDA Board, which nominates its chairperson. The chairperson is invited to attend the Board meetings.
