Recent activities in the VizieR service

  • Expand the VizieR catalogue service with Associated data (spectra/images)
  • Core Trust Seal (CTS) certification
  • Support of the technicals aspects of VizieR: developments, mirrors, databases...
  • SI Renewal
    • Search engine (ElasticSearch), positional indexation (MOCS), DOI
    • ingestion workflows (cooperation with editors A&A, AAS and ADS)

IVOA activities

Database activities

  • Developpement of a positional PostgreSQL index H3C based on HEALPix
  • Developpement and deployments of the table Access protocols (TAP/ADQL (=Astronomical Data Query Langage)) for VizieR.

Teach Python to the M2 of astrophysics (Strasbourg)
