Yellow-page services are now provided at CDS via the CDS WorldWideWeb (White, 1993) resource. They provide links to astronomy resources available on Internet and using the Mosaic (Hardin, 1994) client tool. Links are anchors or hypertext references to the listed resources through implicit Universal Resource Locators (URLs). Fig. 1 reproduces the CDS Yellow-Page Service home page.

The links are transparent pointers townformation provided by WorlWideWeb, gopher (Anklesaria & McCahill, 1993), anonymous FTP, WAIS (Fullton, 1993), Usenet News, and Telnet services.

Two separate lists of anchors for, on one hand, organizations and services and, on the other hand, for individuals, are maintained. This work is done in synergy with our participation in the AstroWeb consortium (refer to Jackson etal., 1994) and with the compilation by the first author of the Star*s Family (Heck, 1992) master files and, more particularly, StarGuides (Heck, 1994 a&b) and its associated databases.

Each list is arranged alphabetically, but is also provided with a flexible search WAIS capability. Fig. 2 reproduces the result of a search on the string `CDS' and Fig. 3 gives the CDS main English home page obtained by clicking on the ninth item of the list.

Access to the CDS lists of anchors is possible either directly or through more general pages:
