Details on Acronym: [HKT95] | |
[HKT95] | (Hopp+Kuhn+Thiele+, 1995) |
Write: | <<[HKT95] A NNNN-NNN>> <<[HKT95] AA NNNNA>> <<[HKT95] AAN NNN>> <<[HKT95] AAN KOW NNN>> <<[HKT95] ACO 2151 NNNN>> <<[HKT95] AAA A NNNN-NNN>> <<[HKT95] AAA AA NNNNA>> <<[HKT95] AAA AAN NNN>> <<[HKT95] AAA AAN KOW NNN>> <<[HKT95] AAA ACO 2151 NNNN>> |
Object: | G (SIMBAD class: Galaxy) |
Note: | The formats are contructed as follows: 'A NNNN-NNN' can be 'O NNNN-NNN' or 'B NNNN-NNN': 'O NNNN-NNN': 'NNNN' stands for the 'old' Palomar blue plates Sky Survey, while 'NNN' is a running number. 'B NNNN-NNN': Same system with B plate of the 'new' POSS-II. 'AA NNNNA' where 'AA' stands for 'HN': galaxies taken from the overlays of the 'old' Palomar Sky Survey refering to an old list of galaxies from Havard. 'AAN NNN' and 'AAN KOW NNN': for VN2, VN4, VN8, and KOW fields used by the authors to identifies the plates of the Calar Alto 3.5m Telescope. 'ACO 2151 NNNN': for an internal running number on a 3.5m plate towards the ACO cluster 2151. 'AAA' before each format for the letters 'N' or 'NN' or 'NNN': 'N' refers to neighbor galaxy not in the original list, but observed with the same slit setting of the spectrograph, so the authors got a redshift. In few cases, we had even 2 or 3 additional galaxies on the slit, adding 'NN' or 'NNN' before the neighbor galaxy. |
