nXXL-ATCA (XXL Australia Telescope Compact Array) (Not yet in Simbad)
Write:<<nXXL-ATCA JHHMMSS.s-DDMMSS>>
N: 1389+6287
Object:Star-forming galaxies, radio AGN
Note:We conducted a 2.1GHz radio continuum imaging survey with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) of the full 25sq deg XMM-Newton XXL South field. We have identified first 1389 radio sources in the field with peak S/N≥5. This pilot survey was conducted in preparation for a larger ATCA program to observe the full 25 sq deg southern XXL field. In the second catalog (2XXL-ATCA) we have identified 6287 radio sources in the field with peak S/N>5. This catalogue supersedes the catalogue published in Smolcic et al. (2016A&A...592A..10S, XXL Paper XI), cf. Butler et al. (2017), submitted to A&A XXL Paper XVIII).
