VOTable standard; it is followed by appendices presenting extensions
which have been proposed and/or discussed, but which are not part of
the standard.
This is a Proposed Recommendation. The first release of this document was
15 April 2003.

Abstract
This document describes the standards fpr the version 1.1 of the VOTable format,
and supersedes the version 1.0 of 15 April 2002.
The differences between versions 1.0 and 1.1 are summarized in
the last section.
This is an IVOA Proposed Recommendation made available for public review.
It is appropriate to reference this document only as a recommended standard
that is under review and which may be changed before it is accepted as a full
recommendation. A list of current IVOA Recommendations
and other technical documents can be found at
