Objects Types found in the literature but not existing in Simbad (...) : e.g. LBV or ULIRG, see Description & Comments columns

Columns :

  • Priority : priority to be the main object type in Simbad. Candidates have the priority of the confirmed type + 10
  • Description : will appear in the Simbad html pages instead of what we have now
  • Comments : how unmaintained/nonexisting object types are characterized in Simbad, criteria to ascribe rare object types, etc...

Acronyms : short-cut for long lists of object types
