SimWatch is a service allowing you to receive notifications when new bibliographic references citing your favourite astronomical objects are added to the SIMBAD database.

Get started

Simply go to the SimWatch page and login to your CDS account (or create one if you don't have one!).

Select your favourite objects

Add objects to your list of favourite objects by entering their names:

View latest papers

When new papers citing one of your favourite objects are processed in SIMBAD, they appear in your SimWatch timeline.

Get notifications by email

You get daily notifications by email of recent papers (at most one message per day!).
