The CDS team is proud to open a new service, allowing you to add

annotations to SIMBAD objects.

SIMBAD pages showing informations for individual objects will

now contain a link at the bottom, allowing you to add informations,

remarks or request modifications from CDS staff for this object.

In order to use this feature, you will need to register as a

user of CDS services. Detailed instructions are available here :

https://cdsannotations.cds.unistra.fr/annotations/doc/quickstart.html.

Note that the registration will provide access to more new CDS

features in the future.

This new annotation system is in its starting phase, and might

need a little tuning in its early days. It is not intended to

supersede email support via question@simbad, but to improve the

quality of SIMBAD contents and the level of interaction between

CDS staff and SIMBAD users.
