If you are searching lots of Simbad objects (and only get some basic data) from coordinates, it will be much more powerful using the "X-Match" service instead of using the Simbad script mode.

This X-Match service allows one to cross-identify sources coming from any two tables (including Simbad, Vizier, or your uploaded table).

Output data from Simbad database are limited, for instance, you can get :

main identifier, ra, dec, B, V, R, J, H, K, object type, proper motion, spectral type ...

You can also use an API allowing one to access programmatically its cross-match service. Through HTTP calls, any script or program can submit a list of positions (up to 2 million positions) and look for counterparts in Simbad.
